Daredevil: Born Again marks the return of one of Marvel’s most popular characters, Matt Murdock. This new version continues the dark, emotional story that fans loved in the original Netflix series, but adds new characters, fresh drama, and a deeper look into Matt’s struggles.
In this season, things are harder than ever for Matt. His best friend, Foggy Nelson, has died, and the city is changing. Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, has become the mayor of New York. This gives him more power than ever before. At the same time, a serial killer named Muse is terrifying the city. Matt feels lost, but he knows he can’t give up.
Charlie Cox gives another strong performance as Matt Murdock. He shows the pain, the anger, and the hope inside the character. Vincent D’Onofrio is just as great as Kingpin: calm on the outside, but full of danger underneath. The season also brings back Bullseye, a deadly villain who makes things even more intense. His scenes are some of the most exciting in the series.

The action is still brutal and realistic. There are many fight scenes in dark alleys, stairwells, and rooftops, just like in the old show. Even though this version is on Disney+, it doesn’t feel soft or too safe. It still has the mature, gritty tone that fans expect.
One downside is that some parts of the story feel slow. The romance between Matt and Heather Glenn doesn’t feel very deep, and a few side characters don’t get enough time on screen. But the main story is strong, and the emotions feel real.

In the end, Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 is a powerful return for the character. It respects what came before, while also moving forward. It’s emotional, action-packed, and full of heart.
Rating: 4/5 - Raw, gritty, and emotionally charged. Daredevil finds new life in the MCU, with Charlie Cox leading the charge.
